Nonetheless, any motive is better than not trying. With that said, let’s dive into three types of exercises you can start doing now to stay safe as the pandemic rages on.

1. A 30 Minute Walk

Do you cringe a little bit when you think about exercising and working out? Does the idea of hitting the gym or watching a workout video seem like too much effort?

Not everyone enjoys working out, and that’s okay. You can still learn how to boost your immune system by adding walking into your routine.

Establish 30 minutes where you walk around your neighborhood, park, or scenic trail. At first, try to incorporate your new habit into each week. Then, aim to make it a daily habit.

Walks help your immune system more than you might think. It stimulates the production of white blood cells, which then go throughout your body. These cells identify and fight infections like the flu or Covid.

2. Pilates

Are you looking for a more moderate type of workout? If so, then Pilates can help boost your immune system and build your strength, too.

This workout makes your whole body move, which stimulates your lymphatic system. A focus on breathing and being mindful is also beneficial for your nervous system.

To get the most benefits out of this exercise, do it about three or four times a week.

3. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Have you HIIT lately? HIIT is short for high-intensity interval training, and it’s quite effective. This type of exercise isn’t for beginners, so skip this one if you don’t work out already.
